Imagery by Ed Guarente
For more than 30 years, photography has been an important part of my life. What began as a career photographing weddings, portraits, and families has evolved into a passion for capturing the beauty, character, and extraordinary moments found in nature.
Today, much of my work centers around the magnificent bald eagles of Central New York, particularly those that call Onondaga Lake home.
Over the years, I’ve spent countless hours observing and photographing these remarkable birds. I’ve come to recognize their individual personalities, their behaviors, and the fascinating stories that unfold in their daily lives.
My photography is about more than simply capturing an image. It’s about capturing a moment, telling a story, and sharing an appreciation for the natural world.
Introducing My Signature Art Collection
My newest creative direction, Signature Art, combines my original wildlife photography with artistic textures, natural backgrounds, and carefully designed elements to create distinctive pieces of photographic fine art.
Each creation begins with my own photography and reflects my personal artistic vision.
Whether it’s a dramatic eagle portrait, a breathtaking moment in flight, or a uniquely designed piece of Signature Art, my goal remains the same: to create images that people will enjoy displaying in their homes and offices for years to come.

Photography & Recognition
Throughout my photographic career, I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition for my work, including Photographer of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors in 2018 from the Professional Photographers Society of Central New York.
Beyond creating photographs, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences through photography seminars, workshops, and presentations to community and nature organizations.
Whether I’m behind the camera or speaking to an audience, my goal is to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of nature and the remarkable wildlife we have right here in Central New York.
The Man Behind the Eagles

After spending countless hours photographing bald eagles, I figured it was only fair to see what life looked like from their side of the lens!
Photography is my passion, but I’ve always believed there’s room for a little humor along the way.
Thank you for visiting my website and sharing in my love of photography and the natural world.
